Traditional Portuguese varieties planted on argilo-calcareous soils of the region. The climate is very specific, with a muscular Atlantic influence, i.e. moderate temperatures and high humidity.

The grapes were harvested in the beginning of October. Classic method, with maceration on skins. The grapes were destemmed at 80%. Fermentation with submersed pomace in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Small ageing period in exotic wood vats.
